Jewellery :
It is of utmost importance that all specified jewellery items are valued once every three years. Thee valuation certificates can be sent through to us via email to keep on file. Jewellery items that have not been revalued will only be replaced at their specified limits. Owing to the fluctuated Rand/Dollar exchange the Gold price is often very different at point of claim from point of purchase. Thus updated values are imperative. This will also assist you at point of claim to ascertain ownership and replacement.
Please refer to your policy wording and schedule, jewellery over a certain value is required to be kept in a locked safe when not in use. Please contact our offices if there are any queries or concerns in this regard.
